PETALING JAYA: PKR secretary-general Datuk Saifuddin Nasution Ismail (pic) was blocked from entering Sarawak after arriving in Sibu at 11am on Tuesday to help candidates in PKR's Balingian campaign.

"Upon arrival in Sibu this morning, he was informed by an officer that a directive to block him from entering the State was issued by the Sarawak Chief Minister's office on Saturday," said PKR communications director Fahmi Fadzil in a press statement.

Fahmi also said that Saifuddin is now waiting for a flight back to Kuala Lumpur.

Bandung (ANTARA News) - The Indonesian General Elections Commission (KPU) will be sued by several associations for the blind grouped under "Forum of Contesting Blind" over the absence of braille templates for blind voters in the legislative elections 2014.

"We will fight the injustice, what the KPU has done against blind voters. We will file a lawsuit against the KPUs decision of not providing braille templates for us," Suhendar, the forums chairman, said here on Tuesday.

The lawsuit will be filed in the Constitution Court or the State Administrative Court (PTUN).

An Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI-P) campaign rally led by chairwoman Megawati Soekarnoputri in Sleman, Yogyakarta, on Tuesday afternoon nearly devolved into chaos after local party officials confronted a large group of motorists who had been attempting to disrupt the event.

During the event, held at Denggung Square, hundreds of spectators on wearing PDI-P gear showed obvious disinterest in what was happening on stage and got on their motorbikes and continuously revved their engines.

Le président de la République, Mohamed Moncef Marzouki a appelé aujourd’hui 25 mars 2014, dans son discours au sommet arabe qui se tient au Koweït, à créer une Union arabe semblable à  l’Union africaine et un parlement arabe tel le  parlement européen.

Marzouki a proposé la création d’une commission qui travaille sur la réalisation de ce projet qui pourrait se faire en l’espace de dix ans.

The Elections Monitoring Agency (Bawaslu), in cooperation with the Indonesian Broadcasting Commission (KPI), has found that three political parties contesting in the 2014 election have allegedly violated campaign advertising regulations.

Bawaslu intends to summons officials from the parties that allegedly breached the rules to seek clarification.

“We will summons them for questioning next week,” Bawaslu staff member Nasrullah said on Monday, as quoted by tempo.co.

The three parties are the Golkar Party, the Hanura Party and the NasDem Party.

Bishkek, March 25 / Kabar /. Acting Prime Minister Jantoro Satybaldiyev declared today at the governmental meeting that he tenders his resignation starting from tomorrow. 

"Like everything has a beginning and has an end, and the work of our government came to an end," said the Acting Prime Minister. He also said that he wrote a letter of resignation and retires starting from tomorrow". 

Till formation of a new government Acting First Deputy Prime Minister Djoomart Otorbaev will serve as acting prime minister.

Mehdi Jomaa a aussi appelé les gouverneurs à aller ''sur le terrain'' et à prendre les décisions qui semblent difficiles mais justes, il a annoncé par la même occasion que ceux qui n'auront pas le courage de prendre les décisions seront remplacés par d'autres.
