Turkmen MP Hasan Turan said that Iraq has achieved a great external victory, but lost internally as it failed to complete the government formation until now.

On October 24, Prime Minister Adil Abd al-Mahdi, who took post in the same month, managed to get the parliamentary approval on 14 out of 22 ministries. However disagreement between political blocs especially on security ministries have thwarted his efforts to complete the cabinet in a short time.

"Iraq's success in bringing together countries with great disputes, is in fact a victory for Iraqi diplomacy," Turan said, adding that Iraq, however, was unable to establish a common vision to complete the government.
