Congress has rescheduled the vote for a new First Deputy President to replace Juma Ateega who resigned following the enactment of the Political Isolation Law. The vote should have happened on Sunday but is now due to take place tomorrow, Tuesday.
The candidates are:
- Omar Khaled al-Obeidi (Independent, Benghazi)
- Ezzidden Mohamed Younis Yahya Al-Awami (Independent, Marj)
- Awad Mohammed Awad Abdul Saddeq (Independent, Jalu).
