Head of the Baghdad Alliance, former MP Hamid al-Zobaie warned of the pursuit of some parties to use the political squabbling whenever the election date come close.
He told the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) that some of the political forces and figures who lost the influence of the masses are trying by various means to use the method of political defeat against the forces and personalities who have a great national impact in the political scene and the depth of the masses."
"There are those who use other methods to influence voters from the presence of armed groups in some areas, which requires government intervention quickly to limit this and the deployment of government security forces to provide security to voters to participate actively in the elections on 12 of May."
