After several weeks of political infighting that has divided the Somaliland region's lower house of parliament, representatives on Wednesday (February 19th) reached an agreement to break the political impasse.
President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Mr Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, called for the termination of policies against the Federal government and face together in the fight opposed to Al-Shabaab movement.
Mr Hassan Sheikh Mohamud returned to the country yesterday and called for the cessation following his saying that it was a obligation and necessitation for the citizens to be alongside each other in the fight against Al-Shabaab.

Mogadishu: A car bomb hit a convoy of cars carrying Qatari officials through the centre of Somalia’s capital Mogadishu on Sunday, killing at least eight Somalis, officials said.
