"We should support the draft law of Dastan Bekeshev who suggests prohibiting companies affiliated with officials to participate in public tenders. It is necessary to spell out in the law that officials and their close relatives can't participate in tenders, otherwise loopholes in the legislation will remain," he said.
The deputy Alla Izmalkova noted that the concept of law is correct, but requires improvement. "We should allow home companies to participate in state tenders if it is the only enterprise. Otherwise we will have to purchase goods by foreign companies, and lose money in taxes. It should be noted that 80 percent of enterprises today are under supervision of people affiliated to officials. It is hard to define them," she added.
