Speaker of the House of People's Representatives (HPR) Mohamed Ennaceur received, Wednesday, first President of the Court of Auditors Abdellatif Kharrat who handed him the general report on the 2014 legislative elections campaign financing.
The HPR Speaker commended the effort of this institution in terms of control to strengthen the principles of transparency and improve the good management of public spending.
Mohamed Ennaceur emphasised the need to draw on the data contained in the report that will be submitted to the HPR Bureau, speaking of the possibility of holding a joint working session between the Court of Auditors and the concerned parliamentary committees.
For his part, the First President of the Court of Auditors spoke of the difficulties faced by the court in the recent elections, calling to take them into consideration during the amendment of the electoral law, ahead of the future elections.
