Ennahdha movement on Thursday called on all political actors to respect the results of the 2014 elections and the ruling team until the next elections.

"This ruling team should be consolidated by a national dialogue to preserve national unity," he said in a statement released after the meeting of its executive bureau held Wednesday under the chairmanship of Ennahda Movement president Rached Ghannouchi.

In this regard, he called on all the actors of the national scene to "preserve the stability of the government and to keep it away from anything that might hinder its operation or disrupt ongoing negotiations with financial institutions, especially that Tunisia is preparing to go out to the international market to mobilise the necessary resources to fill the budget deficit ".

He also cited the emegency of engaging in dialogue on the issues and the necessary major reforms as a starting point for addressing the difficult political and social situation the country is going through.

In the same context, Ennahdha Movement called on the government to accelerate the pace of reforms in consultation with the parties concerned, in particular the Tunisian General Labour Union (UGTT) and the Tunisian Confederation of Industry, Trade and Handicrafts (UTICA), in order to restore the confidence of the citizen in the institutions of the State.

The political bureau of Ennahdha also considered it essential to establish a favourable climate for the municipal elections, which, it said, represent an important stage for the consecration of the democratic transition and the establishment of all the institutions of State.

While calling on the House of People's Representatives and its parliamentary blocs to find a real consensus to elect the members of the Constitutional Court, Ennahdha called on the Truth and Dignity Commission to complete its mission on time and, if necessary, during the extension period.
