Libya - Presidential (Jan 24 2022)
Observations: Postponed: originally foreseen for December 24th 2021 and now expected in 2022
Somalia - Legislative (Feb 25 2022)
Observations: Postponed several times due to mounting inestability until 2022. They are supposed to be the first one person one vote elections in Somalian history

Observations: Due in February 2021, delayed until October 2021 and then again dismissed
Mali - Presidential

Observations: After two military coup d'état (the most recent in May 2021), the ruling Junta offers a 5-year transition period; Mali is under international sanctions
Sudan - Legislative

Observations: Originally the mixed Transition Council formed in 2019 set an election calendar, but October 21 military coup has prolonged the period
