The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has extended the deadline for candidates to file nomination papers across the country.
The deadline has been extended by two days and candidates will now have till March 31 to file their nomination papers.
The scrutiny of nomination papers will take place from April 1-7, while three days (April 8-10) will be set aside for appeals.
The final list of candidates will be released on April 19.
Earlier the ECP had extended the deadline by two days only for Balochistan and given an additional two hours to candidates in Punjab to file their nomination papers.
According to the original election schedule, candidates had till March 29 to file their nomination papers.
