Jakarta. Former military head Wiranto’s People’s Conscience Party (Hanura) said it would back Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI-P) candidate Joko Widodo in the July 9 presidential election, putting an end to rumors of a coalitionwith the Great Indonesia Movement Party, or Gerindra.
President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono has said there was no doubt about the partnership between Gerindra Party presidential candidate Prabowo Subianto and Hatta Rajasa from the National Mandate Party (PAN).
"Prabowo firmly stated his commitment to seek the presidency with Hatta the other day," he said on Friday, as reported by tempo.co.

The United Development Party (PPP) may take back its support of the Gerindra party if a Prabowo-Hatta ticket is announced without involving the PPP in the decision-making process.
PPP lawmaker Dimyati Natakusumah said the PPP had yet to be involved in talks about the potential vice president for Gerindra presidential candidate Prabowo Subianto, as reported by kompas.com.
Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) chairman Abraham Samad says the commission has given its blessing for him to become the running mate of Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI-P) presidential candidate, Joko “Jokowi” Widodo.
According to Abraham, there have been no objections from inside the commission if he is nominated as Jokowi’s running mate.
“Yes, it has been approved,” said Abraham in Jakarta on Thursday as quoted by kompas.com.
He claimed that he had directly consulted other KPK leaders on his plan to run in the upcoming presidential election.
Prolific writer Goenawan Mohamad has resigned his membership of the National Mandate Party (PAN), since it declared its official support for the Gerindra Party's presidential candidate, Prabowo Subianto.
Goenawan said he was very disappointed with the party’s decision. He further said PAN had veered from its original objective as a party and had become a political opportunist during the 2014 general election.

A public opinion poll conducted by pollster the Indonesian Survey Circle (LSI) has found that forty percent of voters have yet to decide who to vote for in the July presidential election.
LSI interviewed 2,400 respondents in 33 provinces with a margin of error of 2 percent from May 1 to 9, as reported by tribunnews.com.
