Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Musa Aman has called for everyone, including opposition leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim to accept the people's decision in the just-concluded general election and move forward for the good of the country.

In making the call, Musa, who is state Barisan Nasional (BN) chairman, urged the opposition to stop making allegations of fraud on the part of the BN -- merely designed to instigate the people.

"Barisan Nasional lost a few seats here in Sabah but you don't hear us crying foul. Instead we said we will do a post mortem and study our weaknesses.

"Today Anwar takes his rallies to the stadium. Tomorrow when he's still not satisfied, he will take it to the streets to continue stirring up the people to create chaos. Is this the type of Malaysia we want?" he said in a statement, here Monday.

Musa was commenting on Anwar's protest against the 13th general election, which, according to the opposition leader, was tainted with allegations of fraud.

He said world leaders have accepted and even congratulated Prime Minster Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak on BN's victory.

"So please be a gentleman and accept the people's mandate and allow all Malaysians to move on with their lives. Don't allow this one man's crusade to cloud your judgement," he said.
