Kamel Morjane, président de l’Initiative Nationale Destourienne a indiqué lors d’une déclaration accordée à Mosaïque FM que les mesures d’adhésion de son parti à l’Union Pour la Tunisie seront bientôt finalisées. 

Il a ajouté que son parti pourrait se présenter aux prochaines élections via des listes électorales communes avec des partis composant l’UPT. Plus de détails dans cette déclaration.

Le député Mohamed Gahbich, a déclaré que les membres des commissions des consensus et les présidents des blocs parlementaires à l'ANC, se sont mis d'accord sur tous les articles du projet de loi de l'Instance provisoire de constitutionnalisation des lois.

Seulement deux points seront renvoyés de nouveau devant les deux commissions demain, après la séance plénière consacrée à l'examen du projet de loi de l'Instance.

La 1re session ordinaire de la 5e législature s’est ouverte lundi sous la présidence du l’honorable Issaka Sidibé, président de l’Assemblée nationale.

 C’était en présence du tout nouveau Premier ministre, Moussa Mara. Ce dernier a été froidement accueil par les députés. Contrairement à la pratique, les élus de la nation n’ont pas fait une standing ovation au nouveau chef du gouvernement.

Le leader du mouvement Ennahdha, Rached Ghannouchi a indiqué lors d’un meeting populaire de son parti à Béja qu’il est encore prématuré pour évaluer le travail du gouvernement de Mehdi Jomaâ qui est entré en fonctions depuis deux mois seulement. Il a considéré que le nouveau gouvernement a fourni un effort considérable pour régler certains dossiers importants. 

 

Le leader du parti islamiste a par ailleurs estimé que le pays a besoin d’un gouvernement d’union nationale après les élections.

LAHORE: The priority agenda of the Women’s Parliamentary Caucus charted at a two-day consultation includes recognition for the caucus in the provincial assembly, legislation on domestic violence, violence against domestic workers, women’s rights to reproductive health, and analysis and amendments to the Punjab Vocational Training Council Act .

The two-day consultation, organised by the United Nations Development Programme and the Women’s Parliamentary Caucus, concluded at the Faletti’s Hotel on Tuesday.

"If a person goes into the state service, he should refuse from his business," the Spokesman Asylbek Zheenbekov said at the session of the parliament.

According to him, it is necessary to adopt such practices in Kyrgyzstan. "We should support the draft law of Dastan Bekeshev who suggests prohibiting companies affiliated with officials to participate in public tenders. It is necessary to spell out in the law that officials and their close relatives can't participate in tenders, otherwise loopholes in the legislation will remain," he said.

Remove gender gap in social safety nets, say labour unions

LAHORE: Representatives of several labour unions in the province met on Monday to discuss the government’s Labour Policy draft. They said while the policy was comprehensive and covered most of the workers’ key areas of concern, the lack of social safety nets for home-based, domestic and agriculture workers needed to be addressed.

The participants of the meeting met at the Working Women Organisation’s office. The All Pakistan Trade Union Federation’s general secretary and WWO Executive Director Aima Mahmood shared the Labour Policy draft with them.

Elders criticize Yaqshid district administration over fraud cases

Job security: G-B governor yet to sign ‘controversial’ regularisation act

GILGIT: The fate of nearly 180 employees of the Gilgit-Baltistan (G-B) government hangs in the balance as the G-B Contract Employees Regularisation of Service Act, 2014 is yet to be endorsed by the governor.

The act was unanimously passed by the G-B Assembly on March 11 and calls for the regularisation of contract employees of the government from basic pay scale 1 to 18.

Tabling the bill in the house, Law Minister Ali Madad Sher had said the law would only be applicable to those government servants who fulfilled required protocols during their induction.

Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Indonesians living in eastern parts of the country have flocked to polling stations in their respective areas on Wednesday morning to cast their votes for parliamentary election.

They are part of more than 187.8 million Indonesians whose names have been registered in the final voter list. In Biak Numfor District, Papua Province, for instance, voters have come to the voting booths since 07.30 am local time.

Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Papua provincial district of Yahukimo should postpone vote casting in 35 subdistricts from the earlier schedule of April 9, because ballots had not arrived at the locations, the General Election Commission (KPU) commissioner said.

"Ballot papers cannot be sent to areas in Yahukimo District due to bad weather. Cargo airplane had started flying there, but bad weather had forced the airplane to return to the capital of Yahukimo District," the KPU commissioner, Hadar Nafis Gumay, said here on Tuesday night.
