ALGIERS-The campaign for the local elections of November 29 for the renewal of the members of 1541 municipal popular assemblies(APC) and 48 Provincial Popular Assemblies (APW) is drawing to a close, with the continuation of marathon meetings and trips of the 52 political parties and independent candidates who strive to convince their supporters and voters.

Campaign which ends three days before the vote has been differently assessed by the contending parties. Those which are used to election running do not complain of popular enthusiasm, while new created parties have difficulty to fill up at rallies organized on this occasion.

All parties have called on the population, so unanimous in their speech, to vote en masse on November 29, noting that it is an act of citizenship able to "further strengthen" democracy and "devote "the" popular will. "

The local elections are held in the completion of political reforms initiated by the President of the Republic, stressing peaceful change, the parties noted. In their speeches, the political parties and independents have also stressed the stability of the country, where "the urgent need" for the vote to take place in the "serenity" and "harmony".
