Meeting held to support govt. decision on 3 region state conference in Baidoa

A meeting with participation from intellectuals, politicians, spiritual leaders and other community was held today in Baidoa, the provincial capital city of Bay region where they supported the government’s decision on creation of the South-Western state.

Furthermore, the participants urged the citizens in the South-Western state of Somalia to support the state formation on the 3 regions of Bay, Bakool & Lower Shabelle.

Members of Parliaments that were present at the occasion requested the Somali government and international communities to support the plans for creation of the 3 region South Western state and also to lend a hand to the people.
