National forum on “institutionalisation of relation between civil society and state’s institutions

“Institutionalisation of the relation between the civil society and the state’s institutions” is the theme of the national forum held, Sunday in Tunis science city, at the initiative of the “Ado+” association, in collaboration with the Arab network of non governmental organisations and the National Council of the nongovernmental organisations. 

This forum is held as part of a campaign to support the institutionalisation of the relation between the civil society and the state’s institutions, in addition to their control and the promotion of their performance.

The participants in this forum, including academics, researchers and components of the civil society incited to the reflection on the development of a regulatory and legal value agenda helping the civil society to take part with the different parties namely the government, in the management of the public matter according to a democratic and participatory approach.

Executive Director of Arab network of non governmental organisations of development Zied Abdessamad presented the joint project between the network and the national council of the non governmental organisation on the “establishment of ways for boosting the civil society in North Africa.”

This project, which started three years ago in collaboration with the Tunisian Association of Democratic Women (ATFD) and the Ado+ association, aims to energise the components of the civil society in the new democracies of North Africa notably in Egypt and in Tunisia, he specified.
