Algiers- the 35th anniversary of the Berber Spring is celebrated this year by organizing several activities in all regions of Kabylia.

In Tizi Ouzou, several demonstrations are organized to demand the formalization of the Amazigh language. Thousands of people took part in a march at the Hasnaoua university waving banners that read in part: "no dignity without freedom."
