The chairman of the Constitutional Council, Mourad Medelci, has installed Sunday the institution's new members, the council said in a statement.
The installation came following the swearing-in, last Tuesday, of the new members before the president of the Republic, according to Article 183 of the Constitution.
The Constitutional Council is made up of 12 members.
The executive decree N° 16-210 of 27 July 2016 includes the list of Constitutional Council members:
- Mourad Medelci, chairman
- Habchi Mohamed, deputy chairman
- Hanifa Benchaabane, member
- Abdeladjalil Belala, member
- Brahim Boutakhlil, member
- Hocine Daoud, member
- Abdennour Graoui, member
- Mohamed Dif, member
- Ismael Balit, member
- El Hachemi Brahmi, member
- Fouzya Benguella, member
- Kamel Fenniche, member
