Kyrgyz Prime Minister is against to consider Kumtor issue in a referendum
Prime Minister Jantoro Satybaldiyev today at a meeting of Ata –Jurt faction expressed his opinion that he is against the consideration of issues of Kumtor in a referendum.
He said that, there is no need to hold a referendum on the issue. "According to the draft agreement, the government is responsible for this issue. In addition, the agreement shall not pass ratification process, the Parliament should only support," said Satybaldiyev.

SDPK leads in Kara-Suu town council deputies elections. Special representative of the Central Election Commission (CEC) in Kara-Suu Territorial Election Commission (TEC) Rasulbek Kadyrov reported to 24.kg news agency .
According Rasulbek Kadyrov, today Kara-Suu TEC holds a meeting, where it confirmed the voting protocols and distributed deputy’s mandated among the parties. SDPK received 18 mandates in town council, Onuguu-Progress- 6 mandates, Bir-Bol- 4, and Zamandash- Sovremennik- 3 mandates.
Three Kyrgyz opposition lawmakers lose parliamentary seats
Kyrgyzstan's Central Election Commission (BSK) has withdrawn the parliamentary mandates of three leaders of the opposition Ata-Jurt (Fatherland) party.
The BSK's representative, Rashid Bekbasarov, told journalists that the decision on August 20 to strip them of their seats in parliament went into effect immediately.
Skirmish at Kara-Suu local council election
A skirmish occurred the day before in Kara-Suu district at election to local council, the Interior Ministry of Kyrgyzstan confirmed the information to journalists of 24.kg news agency .
According to preliminary information, the incident occurred yesterday at one of the voting precincts. The conflict flared up between representatives of the Social Democratic Party of Kyrgyzstan (the ruling party) and the newly formed political organization Onuguu.
At the time law enforcement agencies are trying to find out causes of the incident. Three people were wounded.

Kyrgyz CEC makes changes in reserves of 4 Precinct Election Commissions
The Central Election Commission of Kyrgyzstan has made changes in reserves of 4 Precinct Election Commissions. The decision was made today at a session.
According to the Head of CEC Organizing Department Bolot Maksutbayev, the commission changed the reserves of Aravan, Alay Precinct Election Commissions of Osh province, Karakol PEC of Issyk-Kul province and Talas PEC of Talas province. At least 14 people were relieved of their duties at their own request.

President signs decree on dissolution of local councils and early elections
The President of Kyrgyzstan signed a decree on dissolution of several local councils and early elections, Information Policy Department of the President’s Office reported.
The decree states that due to the fact that local councils failed to elect heads of executive bodies of local governments it is necessary to accept the offer of the Central Election Commission and dissolve councils of Kara-Suu town (Osh province), Toguz -Toro (Toguz- Toro district), Terek-Say (Chatkal district of Jalal-Abad province).

Kyrgyz Vice Prime Minister vacates his office
Vice Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Shamil Atakhanov vacated his office, the President’s Office reports.
According to its information, President Almazbek Atambaev signed his resignation letter.
“People should work in team and use team approaches in solving complex issues and crisis situations,” Shamil Atakhanov said.
The now ex-vice prime minister added “any leader must defend his team and listen to it; but when he doesn’t and when a government lacks constructive endeavor, working by oneself is useless”.

Ismail Isakov: Government should be dissolved for incident with Batukayev
“The government should be dissolved because of Batukayev’s incident and debarred from public posts for 8 years and a half,” member of SDPK faction Ismail Isakov said at parliament meeting today.
According to him, the parliament majority coalition should be dissolved and punished for early release of Aziz Batukayev, the thief in law.

Parliamentary Committee for Defense and Security found the government report for 2012 unsatisfactory in terms of training and ensuring defense of Kyrgyzstan.
Opinions on the issue have divided. In particular, the deputy chairwoman of the committee Irina Karamushkina offered to declare the work of the Cabinet satisfactory. But Ismail Isakov and Kurmantay Abdiyev disagreed.
